Move from shapes to deliberate curve geometry.

Work with nodes, handles, segments, intersections, and path-level operations without flattening the drawing.

Enter node mode with one path selected.

Node editing operates on a selected path. Choose an anchor to expose its coordinates and the controls that belong to adjacent segments.

Move anchors on the canvas or enter numeric coordinates. Add and remove nodes when the existing topology does not match the intended silhouette.

A future annotated visual will identify anchors, incoming and outgoing handles, and the selected segment.

Choose the handle relationship.

Corner mode allows independent handles. Smooth mode keeps the handles aligned, while symmetric mode also keeps their lengths paired.

Changing a segment type rebuilds the curve between the same endpoints and can change its shape, so the editor asks before applying the conversion.

Use face and path operations for larger changes.

Boolean commands operate on compatible selected drawings. Shape builder, knife, scissors, and trim tools let you act closer to individual faces and curve pieces.

Offset, simplify, self-intersection resolution, corner rounding, chamfering, stroke-to-fill, and compound-path commands address common finishing work.

  • Unite, subtract, intersect, exclude, and divide

A future sequence will show source paths, intersection markers, and the resulting faces.

Arrange repeated segments along a target path.

Select one or more source segments and a target path, then set interval, alignment, and orientation. Copies can follow the target tangent for curved arrangements.

Treat the result as generated geometry and inspect overlaps before combining or exporting it.
